‘Super Smash Bros 4’ News: Gamers Welcome a New Playable Character in Cloud Strife from “Final Fantasy VII" [VIDEO]

Recently, Nintendo made a big announcement about its famous fighting video game "Super Smash Bros 4" on WiiU and 3DS platforms. It was about another character who showed up in the game instead of those who were speculated to be coming.

"Super Smash" gamers are so happy to say the least about the new playable character introduced in the "Super Smash" game. This character is their favorite "Ultima Weapon-wielding" Cloud Strife from the "Final Fantasy VII" game. The gamers didn't include Cloud Strife in their speculations and theories about the next "Super Smash Bros 4" DLC characters.

During the "Super Smash Bros 4" Fighter Ballot which concluded on Oct. 3, seven probable playable characters made it into the speculations depot like, King R. Rool and Dixie Kong from "Donkey Kong Country," Ridley from "Metroid," Professor Layton from "Professor Layton," Isaac from "Golden Sun," and Inkling from "Splatoon."

Gamers are delighted with this big surprise from Nintendo as Cloud Strife is more famous than any of the said characters they have speculated to be in the game.

Nintendo also revealed Cloud Strife in a "Super Smash Bros 4" clip during the new Nintendo Direct event that featured the protagonist of "Final Fantasy VII" getting into action on the famous "Super Smash" video game.

"Cloud Storms into Battle" is the title of the trailer and features how ready Cloud Strife is in his fight with anyone at "Super Smash Bros 4." The trailer also showed the hero/ spiky-haired mercenary demonstrating his strength in a fight versus every playable character in the list of "Super Smash Bros 4." The clip also showed Cloud doing a beatdown in every character in "Super Smash Bros 4," and doing his popular Odin Summon move with his remarkable edge breaks on every adversary.
