Free Fallout 3 Is Only Available If Fallout 4 Is Pre-Ordered, Confirmed By Bethesda

During E3, Bethesda confirmed, through Todd Howard, that they will be including Fallout 3 on every copy of Fallout 4 Microsoft's Xbox One. However, according to IGN, that was not the case. According to a blog post in Bethesda's website, you will get the Fallout 3 only if you pre-ordered the much anticipated upcoming apocalyptic game.

The website reads, "We're excited to announce - for a limited time - your pre-order of Fallout 4 for Xbox One will entitle you to receive Fallout 3 on Xbox 360," "The code for Fallout 3 will be delivered to your Xbox message center in 7-10 days. Redeem your code on Xbox.com or on your Xbox 360."

Fallout 4 is currently being offered on the Xbox Store pre-order page. The announcement is also unclear if the offer will be extended to retailers or not. But if you are going to judge it from the site, there were no retailers mentioned on it, thus maybe, it will be a limited offer. Fallout 3 is priced at 59.99 for the United States and United Kingdom (US Dollars and UK Pounds, respectively).

Some details of the upcoming Bethesda game were released during Bethesda's E3 Conference, but there were more news and updates that was discussed during the Microsoft conference, which included cross-mod support for Personal Computer and Xbox One versions of the post-apocalyptic game.

The game, according to an earlier post by RealtyToday, will take place in the fictional universe version of Boston Massachusetts. The trailer, which was released early of June, also gave away some of the historic locations that will be feautured in the game such the Massachusetts State House, The Paul Revere Statue, and a modified version of the USS Constitution, an airship.
