Fallout 4 Trailer Reveals Game Location in Boston Massachusetts

The time has expired and it was finally revealed, Fallout 4 will be out, but probably not this year. In reference to IGN's report, Bethesda finally unfolded the much anticipated game in a very strategic way. It started with a teaser then a timer and now the reveal.

The post-apocalyptic game will take place in the fictional universe version of Massachusetts, The Commonwealth, which was devastated by war and nuclear explosion. The trailer also gave away too much known MA locations such as the Massachusetts State House, The Paul Revere Statue, and a modified version of the USS Constitution which was remade as an airship. The clues spilled the location even without Bethesda confirming it.

To add, IGN also reported that diehard Fallout gamers may not be new to this place since it was hinted in a side quest titled The Replicated Man of the 2008 Fallout 3. The side quest featured Dr. Zimmer who is from The Commonwealth and revealed that he and his colleagues created the droids that have been causing havoc all over the place. The fictional character also referred the future version of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as The Institute.

Before the final reveal, there were a lot of speculations where the setting would be and thanks to Kotaku, an online website that is dedicated to gamers, confirmed the location due to leaked documents that somehow ended up at their doorstep. Kotaku, way back in 2013, created an article hinting that the next Fallout game will be in Boston. They also mentioned The Institute, which is again in the game and also predicted that there will be a Fallout 4 coming and is not a hoax.

Bethesda earlier announced that on June 14 at the E3 press conference, a lot of revelations about the game will be exposed and a possible game demo of 20 to 30 minutes will be showcased.
