George Lucas, Eagles, Carole King to Receive Awards in Kennedy Center Honors 2015

Last Wednesday, July 15, 2015 awardees for 2015 Kennedy Center Honors, now on its 38th year were announced, recipients of the awards were “prolific people” who had lifetime contributions in the American Performing Arts. Honorees for this year were Director George Lucas, Carole King, the band Eagles, conductor Seiji Ozawa, also recipient of the awards are actresses Cicely Tyson and Rita Moreno. The gala for this upcoming awarding ceremony will be on Dec 6 and will have a broadcast of the event on Dec 29 that will be shown by CBS.
