EA Releases Update 1.04 For 'NBA Live 16', New Tattoos and Other Accessories Among Bug Fixes

As previously reported, "NBA Live 16" suffered poor sales from the day it was launched. At that time, NPD results for September on Neogaf said that only 8,300 copies of "NBA Live 16" were sold while a similar game from 2K Sports, "NBA 2K16" was doing way much better with more or less 1.1 million copies sold.

Many then speculated that it was time for EA to drop the ball on NBA simulation game. Surprisingly, EA still continues to support "NBA Live 16" and just recently, Update 1.04 has been released.

According to Design and Trend, Update 1.04 come with over 40 new hairstyles, new tattoos and more than 25 new player scans. Patch notes also mentioned that over 250 bug fixes and improvements.

In the patch notes that can be downloaded HERE, as an example of changes made with regards to player accessories, the Clippers' Blake Griffin's right bicep accessory was removed. Another one is that Cavaliers' Kevin Love got his leggings removed and replaced with black knee pads. His shoes has been changed to Nike Hyperdunks.

In the patch notes on the EA Sports website, it was mentioned that the new content was made in honor of Margaret Hie Ding Lin in 2004. Margaret Ding Lin content comes with new brand-new objectives, teams and unlocks. Fresh new ink designs from Randy Harris have been added to "LIVE" Spot. More over the update has brought 26 updated heads featuring the league's top rookies, over 50 new kicks, new tops, bottoms and accessories.

Last week, EA has released the NBA LIVE 16 Week 3 Roster Update which includes, changes "Karl-Anthony Towns (OVR 85) +3 - Towns has made an immediate impact for the T-Wolves." s it possible that EA's continued support could bring back hope for this ailing "NBA LIVE 16" title?
