‘Young Black Jack’ Anime Reveals Details Guest Characters From Tezuka Manga

"Young Black Jack" anime reveals details of the guest characters of the series. The guest cast are from Tezuka Manga characters.

According to Crunchyroll, the manga of Yū-Go Ōkuma and Yoshiaki Tabata is now adapted into an anime series,"Young Black Jack." The series will introduce guest cast for its fall episodes. These characters would appear until the 5th episode, since the "series is based on the 2011 ongoing prequel to Osamu Tezuka's classic medical adventure manga with the titular mercenary surgeon still in medical school, set in the 1960s."

Anime News Network says that there are 13 cast members that would have guest appearances in "Young Black Jack" anime series, this info had been announced in the official twitter account. Although, these characters have appeared in the original "Black Jack" of Osamu Tezuka, report says that they might not have the same roles and names in the other manga series.

These are the cast that are reported to appear in episode 2 down to episode 4 (Crunchyroll says even up to episode 5): Hiroki Touchi as Tōrō Tachiiri, Norihiro Inoue as Raymond, Kazuo Oka as Tomezō Kanayama, Takuya Eguchi as Jou, Megumi Toyoguchi as Aoyama, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Tamura, Ryotaro Okiayu as Smith, Hisafumi Oda as Marlon, Shunsuke Takeuchi as Hugo, Kentarou Tone as Takayanagi, Hiroki Yasumoto as Bob, M.A.O as Phan, Shōta Yamamoto as Steve, Yuichiro Umehara will play Kurō Hazama, Koji Yusa as Yabu, Shizuka Itou as Maiko Okamoto, and Akio Ohtsuka as Narrator. "Young Black Jack" anime will be directed by Mitsuko Kase under the Tezuka production. In addition, Armored Trooper Votoms creator Ryousuke TakahashiIt will not only be supervising the animation but he will be writing the series scripts as well. The character design will be handled by Miyuki Katayama and Nana Miura, however they will also serve as the chief animation directors.
