Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is expected to lose a massive amount of money as he gets rid of a multimillion-dollar equestrian estate in Atlanta.

The former professional wrestler reportedly owns the massive property, a 45-minute drive northwest of downtown Atlanta. As per Variety, the said real estate gem is technically owned by a Georgia-based company "linked to Dwayne Johnson" and connected to the actor's business managers in Los Angeles.

Earlier this week, the Atlanta mansion was put on sale for $7.5 million, which is $1.5 million less than what Johnson paid for upon purchasing the property last year.

According to the report, the Georgia-based company acquired the 46-acre property in October 2019 for more than $9 million.

It is also unclear if the "Jumanji" star has ever moved into the said mansion, as reports stated that it has been technically empty (no personal belongings or major furnishings in sight).

Property Details

The 14,791-square-feet mansion features eight bedrooms, six bathrooms, and three powder rooms. According to the listing posted by Glennis Beacham of Beacham and Company Realtors, the French Provincial-style megamansion boasts a "wide plank old growth walnut flooring, great stone fireplaces, high ceilings [and] great natural light."

The Atlanta mansion for sale is covered in wood and stone features a massive formal living and dining area, joined by a wood-panelled library and a gourmet kitchen.

You will also be greeted by a huge lounge with a wet bar and walk-in wine cellar at the lower level. Outside also lies a backyard with a salt-water pool, an outdoor kitchen perfect for summer grilling, a stone fireplace, a cabana, and an open-air pavilion.

Aside from the pristine overlooking lake, the grand mansion is also surrounded by rolling lawns, landscaped gardens, and extensive terraces.

The equestrian estate also boasts a 12-stall barn horse farm complete with a hay barn and riding arena with a viewing deck. Meanwhile, the property's mid-19th century farmhouse serves as additional quarters for staff or guests.

While the "Moana" voice actor's name is technically not on the property records, he also has massive real estate under his name. He once owned a 150,000-square-foot mansion in the Southwest Ranches area near Fort Lauderdale in Florida, sold in August 2019 for $4.5 million.
