Kelly Clarkson's Divorce Made Her Re-List Tennesse Lake House with Huge Discount

Kelly Clarkson is eager to get her hands off a massive real estate that's been under her name for a long time. The first "American Idol" re-listed her Tennesse lake house for sale with a considerable discount.

According to the New York Post, from the original $8.75 million price tag, the celebrity home is now $500,000 more affordable.

The 38-year-old singer and talk show host acquired the property and her now ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, in October 2013. The couple purchased the Hendersonville waterfront property for only $2.86 million.

In March 2017, the couple decided to list it in the market for $8.75 million. In 2019, the now exes marked down the property's price for $7.5 million.

Now, three years after they first attempted to sell the lake house, they are still in search of any takers of their massive lakehouse, leading the musician to recently re-list it for the third time for $6.95.

Lake House Details

According to the listing under Parks Real Estate broker Jack Miller, the 4.06-acre lake house surrounded by lush greens includes seven-bedroom and 9.5-bathroom. Upon entering the 20,121-square-foot waterfront house, you will be greeted by a sweeping double staircase leading to most of the rooms in the house.

Other feature includes a spacious kitchen with stainless steel appliances, center island, a breakfast nook, and an overhanging bar with counter seating. Beside it is the formal dining area designed with a large table and two gorgeous sparkling chandeliers.

On the other hand, the living room features a stone fireplace, a wood ceiling, and a window seat. We also love how the house's hanging light fixtures made the family room together.

The Tennessee lake house for sale is also a perfect property for entertaining guests as it is complete with a movie theater and game room with a pool table and wet bar. But wait, there's more! Guests will surely love the large saltwater pool with a jacuzzi, private dock, and a spa pavilion.

Kelly Clarkson's former celebrity home is also complete with a conservatory, volleyball court, and playground for kids.

The master's bedroom, where Clarkson probably spent most of her time in the house, includes its own fireplace with a sitting area and double vanities, while the master suite's bathroom includes a tub in the center surrounded by drapery.

It is not the first time that the "Because of You" hitmaker listed one of her properties in the market. She listed her Encino eight-bedroom farmhouse-style home last year but eventually took it off the market for an unknown reason.

Despite her divorce from Brandon Blackstock, Kelly Clarkson recently purchased a new home. While the location and other details of the new property remain unknown, sources said that the singer was very hands-on in redecorating the new real estate acquisition.

Clarkson and Blackstock filed a divorce citing irreconcilable differences. They share two children, 6-year-old daughter River Rose and a 4-year-old son, Remington Alexander.
