It was only days ago when Khloe Kardashian was reportedly signing with a Mrs. Lamar Odom autograph. Now, the reality star is back on the spotlight as she is rumored to be dating Robin Lopez of the Portland Trail Blazers.
The rumor went off as the Trailblazers coveted center is sidelined indefinitely after acquiring an injury on his hand. If the rumor is true, KK must have been serious about hitting the basketball courts in search for new prospects.
Meanwhile, Lopez, after hearing about the rumors, responded on the issue through the Trailblazer's Official Site rather hilariously:
"You know, I'm not exactly certain of the veracity of those rumors. But what I can comment on, I suppose, is the fabrication of that power couple by the press.
"Obviously they were looking for two people with a lot of influence on popular culture, on the youth, and they were looking for two movers and shakers. Frankly, I'm not surprised they came up with my name."
It seems clear that the basketball star confirms there is no truth behind the rumors; although, he hints that there is a chance he'd be taking the bait not to be Khloe's newest boyfriend, but as a part-time job while he is not yet ready to play.
Lopez then shows a little bit of his humurous character as he talks more about maximizing the gossip. CBS Sports reports that the Trailblazer stand-up is "willing to try out the glamorous, fast-paced lifestyle that surely goes hand in hand with dating Kardashian." There is no question about that possibility as they are both famous in their own rights and in their own fields.
Robin jokingly mused about what could potentially happen if he eventually works with KK saying, "I've got a lot more free time for magazine shoots, guest hosting duties on TV shows and stuff...they can contact my agent if they want to. I'm also the associate video guy. That's one of my new duties. Got a wealth of opportunities even though I've only got one hand right now."
Unfortunately, rumors can only get so real at times but no matter how contrived they are, they are still rumors. Robin Lopez has already confirmed that he is not dating Khloe and so do the recent appearances of Khloe in several NBA matches. The curvaceous Kardashian watched the Detroit Pistons but never a Blazer's match.
Well, he is tall and looks pretty good, there is really nothing wrong if Lopez would pursue modelling and doing commercials while he's benched for the meantime.
