NBA Trade Rumors: Joakim Noah's Injury May Hasten the Trade Rumors; Noah to Help Paul George and Pacers Campaign

The rumors of Noah transferring to another team seemed to be unending. After the said game decline of Noah has been noticed, and the idea that he is not being able to fit with Chicago Bulls offensive direction, Noah has been subject to many trade rumors in league. It was reported recently by pippenainteasy that;

"Noah is getting older and losing that energy he used to always play with. He also doesn't seem to fit into the offensive direction the Bulls are moving in. The Bulls could trade him while he still has some value around the league."

With the recent injury of Noah, it was made more obvious by surfacing rumors that the Bulls would likely make a trade before the trade deadline. According to Chicago Bulls blog Pippen Ain't Easy via yibada, it stated that the "recent injury to Joakim Noah, the longest tenured Bulls player (a year earlier than Rose) on the roster, may don a different jersey for the first time in his career." The site also mentioned the lack of consistency in Noah's game. It detailed that "it doesn't really make sense for the Bulls to be paying a guy that much money ($13.4 million) who is coming off the bench" and that if Noah does not show consistency before the deadline, it would be better for the Bulls to see what they can get."

In connection to the injury and trade possibilities for Noah, another team was dragged into the equation aside from the Boston Celtics who was previously rumored to trade "Isaiah Thomas, Kelly Olynyk, and James Young" in exchange for Noah. Aside from the Celtics, the Pacers was reported to be showing some interest for Bulls Center.  According to yibada, "Indiana Pacers could also be a landing spot as they have a dearth in the frontline. The Bulls could target anyone from Monta Ellis, Rodney Stuckey of George Hill to boost their backcourt and also a shooting forward like Chase Budinger." The presence of Noah would likely support the Paul George, and bringing him back to his previous SF position.
