Royal Rumors: Kate Middleton Jealous Of Princess Madeleine's Popularity?

Kate Middleton seems to be threatened with the popularity that Princess Madeleine of Sweden is getting and Kate is eager to maintain her status as the most popular royal.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Princess Madeleine just made a big move in making her adorable family the most popular one in Europe. The Princess allowed her 3-month-old son, Prince Nicolas's baptism be aired on Swedish television.

Fox News reported that last Oct. 11, Sunday, Madeleine and her husband New York banker Christopher O'Neill had their son Nicolas baptized at the Drottningholm Palace Church, near Stockholm, Sweden. The ceremony was joined mostly by friends and family.

Prince Nicolas Paul Gustaf who will also be known as the Duke of Angermanland is the first grandson of King Carl XVI Gustaf. The young prince was born June 15. He is the sixth in line to the Swedish throne after his sister Princess Leonore.

CDL shared that the entire country was able to watch the ceremony and they were all smitten by Leonore who was shown playing and dancing while the ceremony was going on.

CDL said the rivalry between Kate and Madeleine is old news and that the Duchess of Cambridge did not imagine there will be another royal who will come close to her popularity. The Duchess of Hälsingland and Gästrikland's wedding in June 2013 with O'Neill reportedly made Kate really envious. She allegedly refused to attend the wedding and Queen Elizabeth sent Earl and Countess of Essex instead due to Kate and the Duke of Cambridge's absence.

Another thing that makes Kate jealous, according to rumors, is that King Carl and Queen Silvia of Sweden hardly interfere with Madeleine's life which is contradictory to what Kate is allegedly experiencing with Queen Elizabeth. Kate's every move reportedly depends on what the Queen instructed her to do.
