"Criminal Minds" Season 11 may finally see the most-awaited mother and son reunion between Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) and Diana (Jane Lynch) after almost seven seasons of waiting. In an interview with TV Guide, executive producer Erica Messer hinted on the possibility of seeing the 55-year-old actress back on set, especially after "Glee" has finally come to an end.

"We absolutely want her back... We've got to find a reason to bring her back because I don't want to be unrealistic or just to have her. And we want to be able to use her well too," Messer said.

The outlet noted that Lynch's character was last seen in "Criminal Minds" Season 4, but her character was also mentioned in Season 9. While details about Lynch's possible return in the CBS series are still unknown, various reports claim that Hong Kong actor Jackie Chan will be making a guest appearance in the upcoming season.

Rumors about Chan's involvement in "Criminal Minds" Season 11 began after the show posted a photo of the 61-year-old actor with a caption reminiscent to that of Reid's quote back in Season 11, Latinos Post cited.

"@EyeOfJackieChan said 'coffee is a language itself' @ the 2006 opening of his coffee franchise #CriminalMinds."

CBS has yet to confirm or deny Chan's involvement in the upcoming season of "Criminal Minds." The show has also recently cast Aisha Tyler as Dr. Tara Lewis to fill in the shoes of Jennifer Love Hewitt's Agent Kate Callahan.

"Criminal Minds" Season 11 premieres on Sept. 30, 2015 on CBS.
