Comedian Kathy Griffin Sells Her Bel-Air Home and Cashes Out From It

According to the Los Angeles Times, the said comedian got huge cash out from the sale of her now previous home located in Bel-Air. The said property, which is a Mediterranean-style home that is located in a gated hillside, recently sold for $14.01 million dollars. Thanks to that sale, Griffin's bank account is fully stuffed right now. However, if the comedian's original plans were followed through, she would have bagged $16 million dollars instead.

She was originally selling her previous property for the said amount but was soon priced down just after a month of being posted for sale. However, the said celebrity still managed to get more than $3.5 million dollars over the original price of the said property way back in 2016.

According to the reports done in regards to the property, not many changes were done by Griffin during the years she had it. Below are some of the rooms and features of the said property:

• Bathrooms: 12
• Floors: Two-Story
• Driveway: Yes, gated and hedge-lined

• Swimming pool: Yes, 25,000-gallon infinity pool

Thanks to the arched doorways with dark hardwood beams, the Mediterranean look is achieved by the said home. Aside from that, there are other amenities and facilities that the said celebrity home holds, which are listed below:

Aside from Kathy Griffin, Another Celebrity Sold His Home But Didn't Earn as Much 

It is not only Griffin who was recently known for selling their celebrity home, there are others who've joined the celebrity homes for sale group. According to Yahoo! Finance, singer, pianist, and Grammy-nominated Michael Feinstein have sold his previous home, but for a loss amount. His previous Los Feliz home only sold for $7.33 million, which is a far cry amount from the original price of $26 million dollars.

Unfortunately, the dark history of the singer's previous home may have contributed to the low amount he was able to secure. It was built in 1926 and was built entirely by bricks, then it was surrounded by gates, gardens, and lawns. It is a 2-story house with custom woodworks inside of it.

The said property was once used by the Russian consulate from the years of 1935 to 1950. In 1998, Feinstein purchased the home for only $2 million dollars.
