Winning Design for The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption Declared

The winning design for rebuilding The Cathedral of Our Lady Of the Assumption, Port-au-Prince, Haiti was declared at the University of Miami School of Architecture. Segundo Cardona (FAIA) and his team bagged the first place for their design. The Cathedral was destroyed in an earthquake in January.

Orange County Saves Paul Rudolph Designed Government Building

Debate over preservation of The Orange County Government Center, built by famous architect Paul Rudolph, came to an end after the legislature voted 15-6 to pass the proposal in favor of the preservation. A $10 Million Bonding has been issued for the remodeling plans.

The "Whisky Lullaby" singer Brad Paisley and his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley have listed their Pacific Palisades home in Los Angeles, California with an asking price of $2.9 million. The couple purchased the property in 2004 for $1.3 million.
