Foreign Real Estate Companies Decline in China

The number of new foreign property companies in Beijing dropped by 56 percent last year and217 firms quit the market, China National Radio reported on Thursday. The report attributed the changes to the government's measures to cool the real estate market,restricting the number of homes a family can buy and requiring higher down payments on homepurchases.
