Maroon 5 Frontman Adam Levine Lists $5.5 NYC Million Home

"Sugar" singer Adam Levine and his wife Behati Prinsloo, a Victoria's Secret model, had recently listed their home in New York City. Reportedly, this is in preparation for their growing family.

The SoHo loft, located at 112 Greene Street, is complete with one bedroom and two bathrooms. Though it may sound small, the apartment is actually 2,800 square feet. In comparison, a one-bedroom apartment in New York City averages at 750 square feet. The "Maroon 5" lead singer is selling the apartment for $5.5 million.

According to the property listing, there's a cobblestone street that leads to the cast-iron building, which dates way back to the early 1900s. The loft does not lack sunlight at all with oversized windows that provides views over Greene Street. Moreover, the "Payphone" singer's apartment has six original columns, restored exposed brick walls, and 13-foot ceilings.

In the master bedroom, there's a wide walk-in closet and a bathroom equipped with a Jacuzzi. The building may be from the past but the kitchen is modernized with stainless steel appliances, black granite countertops and a Subzero refrigerator. All furniture in the house can also be included with the sale of the house, if the buyer wants them.

The couple Levine and Prinsloo purchased the SoHo loft back in 2014 for $4.5 million. It was the same year that they married in a star-studded wedding held in Los Cabos, Mexico. The pictures of the loft can represent the extravagance of the property, according to a feature by the Esquire.

The loft, however, is missing a nursery. And it may be the reason that they are making the move since they are expecting their first born this year. Levine is reportedly "over the moon" about being a father soon, according to a feature by the U.S. Magazine.

Levine and Prinsloo were spotted house hunting last month in Pacific Palisades, California, where it may be more family-friendly. The couple still has a Beverly Hills home, which Levine bought for $4.83 million in 2012.
