House Tour: Attic Transformed Into a Bathroom

Here's a look at an ordinary-looking attic that was transformed into a beautiful young girls' bathroom.

In an interview with House Beautiful, Florida designer Cheryl Kees Clendenon talked about the concept she had for the small part of her client's house. According to her, she simply focused on the fact that every bathroom should be kept clean and should be designed according to her or the client's preference. So what Clendenon did was she jumped off by including a colorful floral print from Black Edition and turned into the central theme for the bathroom.

The designer then made sure that the bathroom will have as much space. No matter how small it is, the interiors and designs can do wonders on how to make the bathroom look spacious.

"People underestimate the need for counter space in the bathroom. I made sure there was plenty of room for spreading everything out, from toiletries to hair products - it's essential for a teenager!" she said.

Meanwhile, Clendenon also included a bathtub inside the bathroom that she purchased from Victoria + Albert. Next, she also included a dressing table where young girls can just fix themselves up or look at themselves in the mirror. The perfect lighting was also installed on top of the dresser.

If you are thinking of having your girls' bathroom renovated anytime soon, hopefully you can find inspiration from what this Florida designer did. Remember, there's really no problem if your girl's bathroom is not that spacious because it should only contain a few things: a tub or shower area, a wash area or a sink, a table and a cabinet.

Additionally, it would also be best for you to do your research first as to which tubs, cabinets and sinks you can purchase. This way, you can save up on the cost and can also easily collaborate with your designer.
