'Married at First Sight' Season 3 Cast & Updates: Sam and Neil Joke Their Way Through Their Wedding

FYI Network's "Married at First Sight" Season 3 episode 2 showed three couples dive into arranged marriages. One couple, Samantha Role and Neil Bowlus, was seen making their wedding a comical spectacle. These got viewers of the reality show wonder if the arranged couple will indeed find love, or eventually divorce.

According to TV Ruckus, Samantha, 30, and Neil, 31, were paired by the show's producers because of their compatibility. The two both come from mixed backgrounds, are both laidback, and have established careers.

Before walking down the aisle, Samantha was seen getting nervous, and she succumbed to funny antics to mask her jitters. Her father noted that she usually does this during tensed situations. Some viewers asked if her behavior was a bit too much for the occasion.

One fan reportedly commented, "OMG that Samantha! Is she loony tune or what??? She has Tics and is jokey and like a 5-year-old...It is painful!"

While Neil seemed to be enjoying his new bride's mood, he admitted later on that he wanted his wedding to be more romantic. But for Samantha, romance is reserved for people who are really in love.

"I'm not immediately going to jump into being all lovey-dovey," Samantha said. The two sealed their union with a peck on the cheeks.

What was not a laughing matter was when Neil introduced his ex-girlfriend to Samantha.

"I wonder if this is why you're not married," Samantha told the camera. "Because you do awkward things like this."

According to a poll conducted by IB Times, viewers are almost half and half about the two. About 51 percent are optimistic about Sam and Neil's future as a couple, while 49 percent are doubtful.

Among the cons listed on the poll is Samantha's tendency to "make a joke out of everything."

"Married at First Sight" follows six couples who got paired by the reality show as part of a social experiment. It airs Tuesdays, 10 p.m. on FYI Network.
