Kombat Pack 2 DLC Fighters for 'Mortal Kombat X' Finally Revealed

The long wait is over as the four mysterious additional "Mortal Kombat X" characters have been revealed.

As previously reported, the four additional fighters that will be added in the Kombat Pack 2 DLC for "Mortal Kombat X" will be revealed during Game Awards 2015. Many hoped that all four fighters will be named as there were rumors suggesting that not all four would be named.

NetherRealm Studios has officially announced all four mysterious fighters, ending speculations once and for all. According to GameSpot, a video went live but it was taken down shortly by NeoGaf. Even without the video, fans now know that the four fighters who will be coming to the brutal fighting game through Kombat Pack 2 DLC are Leatherface from "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," Xenomorph from "Alien," Bo Rai Cho from "Drunken Fist Master" and Tri-Borg that is a fusion of Cyrax, Sektor and Robot Smoke.

Luckily, there are other uploaders of the said video. See for yourself below. On the other hand, according to allgamesbeta.com, Interactive Entertainment has confirmed that the four playable downloadable contents will arrive in the first quarter of 2016.

According to GameSpot, the pricing for Kombat Pack 2 DLC was not revealed but it would likely be available at the same price as the first Kombat Pack which was sold for $30. Mortal Kombat X was launched in April 2015. To date, Jason Voorhees, Predator, Tanya, and Tremor have been previously added as playable content.

So all speculations have finally been laid to rest. As previously been discussed, Kombat Pack 2 DLC will not include the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," Batman, Superman and it was clearly said from the start that Spawn would not be added even after its creator has long given permission.

"Mortal Kombat X" is currently playable on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC while Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions are reportedly cancelled.
