'Kingdom Hearts III' Trailer Shows Square Enix's Notable Changes to Sora's Face [VIDEO]

Square Enix is slowly improving "Kingdom Hearts III" and the gaming public can see the changes on Sora's face over the new trailers. Images via screenshots can tell Sora's expression is less derpy.

Many of the gamers' trends in some of the forum threads were about the game when the "Kingdom Hearts III" trailer was released during the E3 2015 in June.  One forum talked about the poor quality of Sora's facial animations. The facial expression had looked dull and lifeless. It has a plain aesthetic which may have been suitable for the PlayStation 2 release of "Kingdom Hearts." This was almost ten years ago, and gamers were anticipating a more lively and higher quality graphics in this generation of Xbox One and PS4.

Moving on, during the D23 trailer in November, it has become obvious that those issues have notably improved. Aside from just looking at empty space, Sora now smiles in a more realistic way unlike before. In  the screenshots circulating online, there are now emotions on her face, maybe because of the added wrinkles and details in her surroundings. This is a very evident improvement.

These changes may not shatter the entire international news, but it does make a very excellent improvement to "Kingdom Hearts III."  Now, the question is, why did Square Enix make those significant changes? Did they base it on the negative feedbacks online and then made these changes as their top priority?

Likely, though without any official statement yet from the developers, the most apparent reason is that these improvements are now in the works on "Kingdom Hearts III" to make the entire game better. As the release of the game gets closer, each clip released is possibly to show a higher level of polish. The latest clips should look like the finished game.

"Kingdom Hearts III" is in the works for Xbox One and PS4.
