‘Big Bang Theory’s’ Kaley Cuoco and Husband Sell Sherman Oaks home for $2.56 million

Kaley Cuoco, who plays "Penny" in the popular sitcom "Big Bang Theory", and her husband Ryan Sweeting have sold their home in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, for $2.56 million.

The Los Angeles Times broke the news of the sale. Cuoco and Sweeting tied the knot in a secret-intimate wedding ceremony on the New Year's Eve, this year and moved into the Tarzana mansion they purchased from Khloe Kardashian. Cuoco recently opened doors of her new home's "boudoir" to Allure Magazine. Her long-time make-up artist and friend Jamie Greenberg toured the rooms with Cuoco. Talking about the home she told Allure:

"I cover all my rooms with pictures, like, of my friends, of my husband, of my dogs. I think it makes me feel really comfortable, really at home."

She also thought it was important to have "nice, pretty lighting."

Take the tour in the video below:

Cuoco listed the Sherman Oaks home soon after they moved into the Tarzana house. She purchased the home in 2010 for $2.45 million.

According to the listing records, the home is a 5,233-square-feet, single-family house sitting on a 10,759 square-feet lot. The multi-winged residence has five bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Interiors of the house boast paneled hardwood and tiled flooring and large glass windows. Exclusive living spaces include a formal living area with a fireplace, a separate dining place, a kitchen with modern appliances, a dressing room with large walk-in closets and an office. There are two separate balconies and en-suite bathrooms in the master suites with exclusive shampoo bowls.

Outside, the home has a private backyard, a swimming pool with a spa, a kitchen, a barbecue area and ample parking space.
