'Five Nights At Freddy's Mystery Solved: Clues Point to Bite of '87

When Scott Cawthon announced that "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" was the last in the series because the story is complete, it was time to sum up all theories that have haunted the FNAF followers since "Five Nights at Freddy's 1."

Previously, it was reported that there is still an ongoing debate between Bite of '83 believers and Bite of '87 camp. The Bite of '83 argument comes from the TV screen that says "Fredbear And Friends 1983" at the end of Night 3 in "Five Nights At Freddy's 4." On the other hand, the Bite of '87 argument was based on the idea that the animatronics did not exist before 1987.

In a recent YouTube video uploaded by 8-bit Gaming, all evidences have been gathered in an attempt to solve the great "Five Nights at Freddy's 4." The video focuses on the constantly crying boy "crippled in fear." Players have been playing as him through the entire series, seeing things through his eyes and imagination. But with his crippling fear comes his imaginations that manifest in his nightmares.

Scott teased everyone on GT Live with a clue that says "four games, one story," it confused everybody hence the many theories but the video states that what Scott actually meant with that was, "There are four games but only one is perceived as the true story of 'Five Nights at Freddy's.'"

So going back to the crying boy, according to the video, it is possible that "Five Nights at Freddy's" 1 to 3 were "nothing more than the imagination of distraught child experiencing vivid hallucinations and horrific nightmares." 8-bit Gaming's theory is plausible and his first argument was none of the games in the series actually made sense. Take note that players see the game in the crying boy's eyes so the video pointed the similarity in the layout of the "FNAF 1" establishment and the boy's room in "FNAF 4" and the similar directions where the animatronics attack from.

His next point was that the pizzeria in the earlier "Five Nights at Freddy's" games kept changing around as you view it multiple time, because it was not real. Again it could have been just a dream. The video also enumerated the Easter egg surprises in the game which were in fact clues to the great mystery. So what about the notorious scary characters in the series Bonnie, Foxy, Chica and Freddy Fasbear? The video said that the answer was in the boy's room in "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" in the pile of plushies which the child referred to as "his friends." And he saw them as scary beings in FNAF 1, 2 and 3 is because he is "crippled in fear and constantly having nightmares."

The video concludes that "Five Nights at Freddy's" 1, 2 and 3 occurred after "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" with FNAF 1 the only one referring to the "Bite of '87." The video also states that the phone guy has given clues to how long the child has lived including the things players may see by the side of the child's bed in after "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" such as pills, flower vase and IV bag, the same things you would see on the bedside table in a hospital.

It is therefore possible that Scott Cawthon already had the whole plots of the story in mind when he created the "Five Nights at Freddy's" series. As disappointing as this may sound to those rooting for the Bite of '83, there are so many evidences that lean towards the argument that the "bite" took place in 1987.
