'Persona 5' Release Date, News, Features, Updates: Soejima Reveals That More Game Details Will Be Available Prior to Release

"Persona 5" will have more available updates prior to its release next year. The game is exclusive for PlayStation and is one of the most anticipated games.

The characters of the upcoming game have been revealed including The Protagonist, a blonde guy named Ryuuji Sakamoto, a girl named Ann Takamaki, a blue-haired guy named Yusuke Kitagawa and an interesting cat named Morgana, which adds to the excitement for the game.

They are students during the day and are thieves during the night. But they are good thieves since they would target corrupt officials and would even have the ability to "steal hearts" in order to save the world from darkness.

Aside from that, it also has a unique plot. For most games, the good guys will chase the bad guys. In this new franchise of "Persona 5," the antagonists will be chased by the protagonists since they will be doings things that they believe is right.

Game Director Katsura Hashino and Game Designer Shigenori Soejima promised fans who are eager to play the game that their wait will be all worth it.

"I know it's been a long wait, but I hope you'll give us just a little more time. Hopefully once it's out, it'll all be worth it in the end," Soejima said according to Gematsu.

Hashino and Soejima both believe that the release of "Persona 5" will "restore people's belief in the RPG genre and they are truly overwhelmed and pleased with fans' reaction to the game," Cross Map wrote.

Apart from the information released on "Persona 5" based on trailers and teasers, Soejima said that there will be more sneak peeks coming.

"We still have a lot left to show, so hopefully people keep an eye on us and wait to see what's coming up," Soejima added. "Chief among those, in fact, is more allied characters that we have yet to show, but I'd say that we won't be running out of new stuff to reveal anytime soon. So stay hyped and sit tight until we finally get this game out in your hands!"

On the other hand, Altus released a trailer of the game during the Persona Super Live 2015 concert in order to show the fans that they are working hard on it.

"The main reason we went for that is to reassure people that production on this thing is still going forward, that it's doing just fine. I mean we went a long time without showing much of the game after we initially announced it, so it's only fair," Hashino said.
