‘The Divergent Series: Allegiant’ Star Shailene Woodley Admits Theo James Makes Her Feel Comfortable and Protected

"The Divergent Series: Allegiant" is all set to air in 2016 and one of the things that makes the franchise successful among fans and viewers is the fact that its lead characters, Theo James and Shailene Woodley share an undeniable chemistry in front of the cameras and behind-the-scenes. In an earlier interview, Woodley and James share their thoughts and feelings on working with each other.

Shailene Woodley and Theo James have been involved in countless dating rumors since they starred in the "Divergent" movie franchise as Beatrice 'Tris' Prior and Tobias 'Four' Eaton, respectively. Their closeness in front of the cameras and behind-the-scenes has reportedly gone as far as upsetting their real life partners, especially James' girlfriend, Ruth Kearney, Fashion & Style reported.

According to the publication, Kearney and James' relationship started falling apart when rumors surrounding James and Woodley surfaced on the Internet. The outlet also quoted a report on James' thoughts on these rumors, saying, "He doesn't really care about what people think of him right now with regards to his love life and professional relationships."

James and Woodley have reportedly been both mum about the allegations surrounding their relationship in real life, which leaves many fans wondering if there is any truth to these rumors at all. At this to the fact that the "Insurgent" actor and actress seem to gush about each other in interviews.

In an earlier interview with InStyle, Woodley admitted that she likes working beside James.

"I had a lot of fun working with Theo. Having him by my side felt really reassuring and comfortable. I feel protected by him in a really great way," Woodley said. "I can be around Theo and laugh all day."

James, on the other hand, praised Woodley for having a "strong sense of self and a strong sense of how she wants to handle herself as an actress and as a person who is really unique and really strong."

"The Divergent Series: Allegiant" premieres on March 18, 2016 in theatres.
