‘Divergent: Allegiant’ Shailene Woodley Admits She Relied On Theo James 'Like It Was the Last Thing’

"Divergent: Allegiant" is only months away from its release in theatres and the recently released trailer showed a sneak peek of what awaits Beatrice 'Tris' Prior (Shailene Woodley) and Tobias 'Four' Eaton (Theo James), as they cross the wall and discover more about the world they're living in. Will the ending of the movie be changed?

Warning: Spoilers ahead! Read on if you want to learn more about the details of this story.

"The Divergent Series: Allegiant" is the second to the last installment to the movie adaptation of Veronica Roth's series. The cast and crew of the "Insurgent" sequel recently wrapped up filming and a sneak peek to the upcoming installment was released.

In the short trailer, fans were able to get a glimpse of Theo James and Shailene Woodley's characters moving up across the wall. The "Allegiant" stars talked to ET about their experience and the struggles of walking across a 60-foot wall.

"We did this bit when Shai had to be facing down and I had to be the other way, and it was a little daunting," James said.

Woodley, on the other hand, revealed that she relied on James for help and support because she was facing the other way around.

"I was holding onto Theo's shoulder like it was the last thing!" she told the outlet.

Meanwhile, the titles to the last two installments of the "Divergent" franchise have been changed. The third installment will be called, "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" while the last will be known as "The Divergent Series: Ascendant."

Many fans took this as a sign that the ending will be changed, which will (hopefully) see Woodley's character, Tris, alive. "Divergent" series author, Veronica Roth reacted to these changes and expressed her hopes and wishes for the upcoming installments via her blog.

"Well, basically, it means there are going to be some changes, but it's really too early to know exactly what those changes will be or the extent of them," she wrote.

Should Shailene Woodley's character, Tris, live on in the end or should the directors and writers keep it the way things ended in Veronica Roth's books? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!

"Divergent: Allegiant" premieres on March 18, 2016.
