'Days Of Our Lives' Cast Rumors: Molly Burnett Returning To DOOL?

"Days Of Our Lives" rumors tease that there is a big possibility that Molly Burnett who played as Melanie Jonas is heading back to Salem.

The rumors about Molly's return have been up and about for a couple of weeks already. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, what helped strengthen the talks about Molly's possible return is when "Days Of Our Lives" star Jenn Lilley (Theresa Donovan) started following her on Twitter.

It has been known that "Days" film the soap six months in advance and last June, Jason 47's Days Website pointed out that a photo of Molly was seen on June 13, Friday's episode. Aside from that it was also back in June that both Soap Opera Digest and Daytime Confidential reportedly shared that Molly was back on the set of "Days Of Our Lives."

Soap Opera Spy said that with the clues and signs, it is really possible for Melanie to return, but the big question is "when is she returning?"

There are different scenarios that could happen if Melanie will return to Salem. Melanie being back in town can be a cause of trouble for Theresa and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). It is also possible that Melanie will come in between Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Abigail Devareux (Kate Mansi).

Another theory is that TPTB will pair Melanie to Dr. Fynn. It has been reported that Alexander Bruszt contract in "Days" is extended and that they are looking for a long-term love interest for his character.

Meanwhile, it was back in May when Soap Opera Digest confirmed that Burnett will be leaving "Days Of Our Lives." Molly exclusively told Digest that "Going in, I knew it was a four-year contract and look, it's been the most amazing experience."

She added that "Everyone is so loving and so wonderful and so supportive. It's going to be so hard.... I mean, this is my family. I came out here and I knew nothing, I knew no one and DAYS just kind of opened its arms and took me in. I look at it as four years of the best training any actor could have ever been given."
