Resident Evil Games Series has always been successful in the horror survival genre. It was therefore a big surprise to players when they learned that Capcom was coming up with a multiplayer survival shooter game known as "Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps." A recent poll was reportedly conducted among the players with regards to what they are expecting the upcoming online multiplayer shooter game "Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps" should have. Based on the results of the poll the following expectations have been deduced.
According to Design and Trend, similar to "Resident Evil 4" and "Resident Evil Revelations 2," players are expecting the shooter game to have a contextual melee attack aside from the Brainer and deadly one-hit pick axe that can be used on zombies and other enemies that "Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps" players will have access to. Players also expect to see a bonus XP gained from successfully using such attack in combat.
Since "Umbrella Corps" obviously was designed for a team-based competitive play, the less Competitive players are hoping that the upcoming shooter game will have a "Raid Mode" were they can play against the computer or a bunch of A.I. enemies. In line with this, players also are expecting more bio-weapons, meaning they want to see other enemies besides the zombies.
Some players, according to Design and Trend, are expecting to see the Spencer Mansion, where hopefully secrets about the corporation would be uncovered. But whatever purpose it may serve it would be pleasing to have once of the iconic figures that made the Resident Evil Series famous.
Lastly, although this "Umbrella Corps" shooter game will be played by random mercenaries, players still expect to see the famous "Resident Evil" celebrities like Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine and Leon Kennedy somehow. Some even came up with a suggestion that players can unlock a special feature that will allow them to play as these characters after attaining a particular goal.
"Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps" is still in development and will be released in 2016 for Microsoft Windows and Playstation 4. What else would you like to see in the upcoming game?
