The Fox sitcom, "New Girl" will be welcoming a new girl and it is no other Megan Fox! On its upcoming fifth season, Megan will be joining the cast as Reagan. The "New Girl" upcoming season cast will also include stars Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, Hannah Simone and Lamorne Morris.
The Variety has confirmed Fox's comeback to TV series in the comedy sitcom "New Girl." She signed in for a starring role since Zooey Deschanel is on maternity leave. The transformer star will be playing as a "hot, gorgeous straight-shooting pharmaceutical sales rep. She will be coming to town to shake things up in the loft," according to Deadline.
Entertainment Weekly reported that "New Girl" creator and executive producer Liz Meriwether said, "It's insane to me that such a gorgeous person can be so funny, but I guess we just all have to accept it. I've been a fan of her comedic skills since This is 40, and I'm so excited to have her on the show. We had Megan in mind when we wrote this part - she's the perfect person to come in and shake these guys up."
Megan's role in this comedy sitcom will serve as her first major TV show in a decade. She was last seen on a regular series on ABC's "Hope and Faith." It has been known that Fox started in TV series before her jump off to filming industry. She was part of the first two instalments of "Transformers" as Mikaela which was her big break in the industry.
Fox was last seen on the big screen in 2014's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." She is still set to join the sequel which is scheduled next year. Megan will also be joining stars including James Franco, Will Ferrell and Seth Rogen in "Zeroville."
Fans of the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle" star can catch her on the sixth episode of the upcoming season scheduled in January 2016.
