'Five Nights At Freddy's' Movie Director, Game Creator Collaborate On 'Practical Effects' For Live Action Adaptation

Fans, you can celebrate now. The movie adaptation of "Five Nights at Freddy's" has already been confirmed! Although there is already a confirmation about the movie adaptation, details about the project have been scarce. The plot, release date, and cast members are yet to be announced and we can't wait to find out whether they made the right choices or not. The only thing that is certain as of now is that Gil Kenan has been chosen to direct the movie.

According to sources, Kenan is already on board to direct the film. He will also be the movie's scriptwriter. It was also said that Kenan wanted to keep away from using too much CGI in the film. Practical effects are what the director wants to use as it would add a scarier effect to the live-action film. He also teased that the animatronics construction will be at the Henson Creature Shop.

As excited as fans may be, they are also afraid that the live adaptation would screw up the dynamics of the game. It has been pointed out by fans that not all movies that are based on video games had been very successful with their visual appeal recreation. However, the director gave all fans an assurance that the movie team will give their all time best in making sure that they live up to the people's expectations of the adaptation. He himself is also a big fan of "Five Nights At Freddy's".  He posted a response to a fan saying, "I'm a big FNAF fan myself! The Depth of the game storyline is amazing... Scott is one hell of a world builder!" He continued assuring the fans of the movie's quality saying that Scott Cawthon, the game creator, will stay hands on during the film's production. He also mentioned that everyone need not worry about the output as they will ensure that all elements that made the game popular will be present in the movie.

Gil Kenan's recent works included "Poltergeist" remake and "City Of Ember".
