'Street Fighter V' News: Developers Bring Back 'Street Fighter Alpha 3' Character Rainbow Mika With Zangief Wrestling Moves

"Street Fighter V" will add two female characters to its roster.

"Street Fighter V" roster will get a new name following the recently conducted stress test. Reports say she will be coming with a formidable associate.

Rainbow Mika, also known as R. Mika, has previously appeared in the title, "Street Fighter Alpha 3," in 1998. Despite the short amount of time that she was present in "Street Fighter," she instantly became a favorite among the game's fans. Fortunately for the players who have been asking for her return, their voices did not fall on deaf ears.

R. Mika is set to resurface on the game as an answer to "Street Fighter" fans' request for the up and coming "Street Fighter V." The official announcement was made through a post on the PlayStation blog, showing the latest game's one-minute trailer. Along with that, an announcement was also made regarding several wrestling moves that the 7-Colored Bomber is bringing to the game, as well as her tag team partner, Nadeshiko.

A post by PlayStation said that along with Rainbow Mika, Nadeshiko will also be coming to the game as a playable character. Players can send for the tag team partner through the V-Trigger. This comes in three variants for Nadeshiko.

"Street Fighter V" character Nadeshiko can perform different attacks depending on when the V-Trigger is initiated. When the V-trigger is held back, the wrestler can do a dropkick from the front; when the trigger is on neutral, she can do a body splash from above; and when the trigger is held forward, she can do another dropkick from behind.

"Street Fighter V" character Mika is also bringing another type of force in the game, making her a challenging rival on her own. She is bringing with her some striking and specialized wrestling moves, which is said to resonate that of her idol, Zangief.

"Street Fighter V" will be released for both Sony PlayStation 4 and PC this March 2016.
