A famous Olympian-turned-prostitute Suzy Favor Hamilton, decided to openly talk about her struggles by writing a memoir. Fox News reported that Hamilton will be releasing a book that covers her double life as an athlete and a prostitute.

Hamilton struggled with depression, anxiety, and eating disorder which led her into prostitution. As per the Daily Mail, the HarperCollins website revealed that her 'manic depression and bipolar disorder drove her profession to win'. Her book is entitled: "Fast Girl: A Life Spent Running From Madness" will be released on September 14 in the united States.

The website then dished out a couple contents from the book, giving the readers a sneak peek on what is it about.

'Suzy could not keep her double life a secret forever. When it was eventually exposed, it sent her into a reckless suicidal period where the only option seemed out. Finally, with the help of her devoted husband, Suzy finally got the proper medical help she needed. In this startling frank memoir, she recounts the journey to outrun her demons, revealing how a woman used to physically controlling her body learned to come to terms with her unstable mind.'

Favor Hamilton, who lives in Wisconsin, tweeted she was 'so excited to finally share my story with you next month'.

As a runner, she won seven U.S. national titles - her last in 1999 - but failed to take an Olympic medal.

She ran the 1500 metres in Barcelona in 1992, the 800m in the Atlanta Games in 1996 and got to the 1500m final in the 2000 Games in Sydney.

At the height of her athletics career, she did a Nike TV advert, a swimsuit calendar and Disney promo work.

She was also pitchwoman for the Wisconsin Potato and Vegetable Growers Association

Hamilton's medication triggered her mania and made her become hypersexual. it then gave her a desire that drover her to become her hidden alter-ego.

'For years after leaving the track, Suzy wrestled with her condition, as well as the loss of a close friend, conflicted feelings about motherhood and her marriage, and lingering shame about her athletic career.

'After a misdiagnosis and a recommendation for medication that only exacerbated her mania and made her hypersexual, Suzy embarked on a new path, and assumed a new identity.

'Fueled by a newfound confidence, a feeling of strength and independence and a desire she couldn't tamp down, she became a high-priced escort in Las Vegas, working as "Kelly".'

Hamilton has been keeping her identity a secret which was then revealed after she told her clients her real name.  Her identity was publicly revealed via Smoking Gun causing her to have suicidal thoughts. Her husband however is well aware of her double life and has been struggling to put an end to it.
