Last rumored to have bought a $15 million grade II-listed manor house in Berkshire, the "Tomorrowland" actor George Clooney with wife Amal Alamuddin, are now reported in Us Weekly as trying to have a baby.
Clooney can be recalled to have said that fatherhood "hasn't been high on my list," back in May. Ten months into marriage, the Hollywood star is now ready to make having children a priority. A source reveals in Us Weekly that, "They decided that it would be the right time." The insider added, "Amal isn't taking on extra work at the moment and just continuing with the cases she has."
The source continued that in fact, the human rights lawyer hopes to welcome a Clooney baby in London next year. "The building plans include a nursery," added another insider of the 9,000 square-foot 17th century mansion, which also boasts nine bedrooms and eight bathrooms. "They hope to have all the work done by Christmas."
The celebrity couple seems to not leave anything to luck since another source continued that "They recently visited a fertility center... This is something they really want."
George Clooney, 54, exchanged vows with with Amal Alamuddin, 37, in Venice, Italy on September of last year. It reportedly took place in the seven star Aman Canal Grande hotel. A-list guests of the nuptials included Matt Damon, U2's Bono, Anna Wintour, Bill Murray, Emily Blunt, and Cindy Crawford.
Alamuddin is a leading British human rights barrister. The actor reportedly thanked his wife during his Golden Globe acceptance speech saying: "I've had a pretty good year myself... Listen: It's a humbling thing when you find someone to love - even better when you've been waiting your whole life. And when your whole life is 53 years, Amal, whatever alchemy it is that brought us together, I couldn't be more proud to be your husband."
