Tyra Banks is smizing at her new oceanfront Malibu beach house, which she recently scored for $4.72 million.

According to the New York Post, the supermodel-turned-TV star had a pretty good deal as the four-bedroom, four-bathroom Malibu mansion was initially listed for $5.5 million in November 2020.

The OG "America's Next Top Model" got herself a massive home, which practically sits over the pristine white sands of the pacific ocean, where the surf breaks against the pylons under the house.

Jonathan Macht of Coldwell Banker Realty holds the listing, and Tyra Banks was represented by James Respondek and Heidi Lake of Sotheby's Int'l Realty.

The 47-year-old supermodel joins the growing number of celebrities acquiring a property in Malibu. Some of Tyra's beach neighbor includes "Wonder Woman" star Gal Gadot, singer Avril Lavigne, and Lauren Powell Jobs - widow of the late Apple co-founder, Steve Jobs.

Malibu has always been a hot market in Los Angeles. According to The Real Deal, The past few months have been extra hot for the Malibu market, hitting a 71-percent increase in median sale price during the fourth quarter of 2020.

Property Details

Tyra Banks scored a 4,089-square-foot property that boasts a perfect view of the ocean. The house built in 1982 features a two-story building with high ceilings and an open floor plan.

Upon entering the beach house, you will be greeted with Saltillo tiles, which paves the way to the walled and gated courtyard entry going to the double-height atrium rich in natural lighting. The property effortlessly bathes in the sunshine through the entrance's clerestory windows in the living area's floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

The oceanfront home holds at least five cars, which is considered a huge bonus in the Malibu area, where parking could be mildly frustrating.

Upstairs lies the master suite that comes with a focal fireplace, a skylight-topped walk-in closet, an oceanfront terrace, and a bathroom covered in humdrum tiles and cabinetry.

The "cherry on top" at Tyra Bank's Malibu beach house could be found on top. It is an expansive rooftop terrace with a panoramic view of the coastline.
