U.S. Mortgage Rates Ticks Down To 3.98%: Freddie Mac

U.S. 30-year fixed-rate mortgages declined slightly to 3.98 percent in the week ending April 5 as recent economic indicators were mixed, mortgage finance giant Freddie Mac said Thursday.

U.S. residential property prices, excluding distressed sales, increased 0.7% in February compared to the previous month, according to the latest report of Home Price Index from CoreLogic.
