Just like the rest of the world, Hollywood A-lister Angelina Jolie had also spent most of her 2020 at home due to the coronavirus global pandemic. With the actress's impressive real estate portfolio, she probably won't have a hard time spending 24/7 in one of her mansions.

Jolie and her six children spent most of their lockdown at her sprawling Los Feliz mansion. While the Los Angeles mansion has a lot to offer to keep them entertained, the "Wanted" actress seemed not prepared to spend most of her time in the house she bought together with her now ex-husband, Brad Pitt.

Angelina Jolie's Los Feliz Mansion

The 2.1-acre property situated in the historic Laughlin Park enclave was built in 1912. It was named after the film-maker and former owner, Cecil B. DeMille. The Beaux-Arts mansion features six-bedrooms, ten bathrooms, and a picturesque view of the city and the ocean.

Upon entering the Italianate Revival villa, you will be greeted by a grand foyer beside a stunning curved staircase. The house, surrounded by hardwood floors, boasts a massive living room, an elegant dining room with a mahogany panel, a gourmet kitchen, and a spacious library with floor-to-ceiling bookcases.

During the past six years, the 7,500-square-foot main house underwent some restoration. It also includes the renovation of Jolie's state-of-the-art gym and expansive patio. Upstairs lie the other bedrooms and bathrooms, decorated to maintain the house's original Art Deco vibe.

Outside is perfect for entertaining as it boasts an enormous landscaped garden with manicured trees and rose gardens. It is where you will also find the Old Hollywood-style pool with arched fountains and the barbecue area.

The Los Feliz mansion, which Jolie bought for $24.95 million, also comes with a self-contained guest house, a separate pool house, and a studio house.

In a recent interview for the March 2021 issue of British Vogue, the 45-year-old actress said that they moved to the Los Feliz mansion so the kids will be closer to their father. Jolie also shared how she gets through the COVID-19 lockdown in the grand Cecil B. DeMille estate.

In fact, British Vogue interview revealed that the mansion was five minutes away from his ex-husband's residence.

Shortly after her divorce from Brad Pitt in 2017, Jolie moved into the Los Feliz mansion. Despite the luxury amenities, the actress shared that her lockdown time in the villa has been difficult even if she was with her children, namely 19-year-old Maddox, 17-year-old Pax, 16-year-old Zahara, 14-year-old Shiloh, and 12-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

"I was never very good at sitting still," Jolie said.

"Even though I wanted to have many children and be a mom, I always imagined it kind of like Jane Goodall, traveling in the middle of the jungle somewhere. I didn't imagine it in that true, traditional sense. I feel like I'm lacking in all the skills to be a traditional stay-at-home mom," she added.

The actress shared that her children, whom she described as "resilient," helped her get through the pandemic. Despite feeling isolated, the iconic Hollywood actress enjoyed the house's entertainment areas and extensive pathways where she could walk and reflect.
