Sam Smith makes his relationship with boyfriend Jonathan Ziezel Instagram official after sharing their romantic photos online.
Photos of the 22-year-old "Stay with Me" singer and his boyfriend were compiled by E! Online in a report showing the couple's sweet moments while vacationing in Sydney, Australia during the holiday season.
The new couple, together with some of the crooner's friends, celebrated the holidays exploring the waters of Sydney and even shot photos of them cozying up with each other.
The best of the photos, says E! Online, is one showing the couple recreating a scene from the famous James Cameron's 1997 film "Titanic."
The two imitated the most romantic scene in the film that was shot on the bow of the sunken ship where Jack, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, assists Rose, portrayed by Kate Winslet, on the edge of the ship with arms widespread.
In perfect reference to the film, Smith even captioned the photo: "I'm flying Jack, I'm flying."
Other photos include selfies and pictures showing the couple with some of their friends, enjoying riding the waters of Sydney, as well as a humorous photo of Ziezel standing on a park bench while looking down on Smith.
To return the love, Ziezel also posted a sweet photo of him with the British crooner on Instagram two days after Smith publicly displayed their love story.
In December, the pop star revealed to British tabloid The Sun how he met the model and dancer.
According to him, he came across Ziezel while he was filming the video for "Like I Can," where he was an extra.
In the interview, the British Grammy nominee emphasized that his relationship with Ziezel was in its "very early days" and noted that "he's really sweet."
"It's a surreal thing to be talking about because I haven't even confirmed with him that we're officially seeing each other," he told the British tabloid.
After MTV reported about the couple's photos, a variety of comments from the public revealed the society's diverse acceptance of relationships similar to Smith and Ziezel's.
"Sam Smith is ridiculously adorable so his photos can't help looking the same. I'm glad for him that he's found someone (at least for now) that makes him happy," netizen nicknamed Opal wrote.
Meanwhile, Meridith Paige noted how Sam seems to be a sensitive guy and wished for his happiness in her comment on a report by US Magazine while alias Bushy expressed his fear that the British singer is going to get hurt, especially since the couple are on a long distance relationship.
