'The Amazing Spider-Man' Emma Stone’s Former NYC Home With Ex-BF Andrew Garfield Listed at $22.5 Million

"The Amazing Spider-Man" actress Emma Stone's got her mega-star power Chelsea townhouse hit the New York City market for $22.5 million. Agents for the West 20th Street property stated the building has been home to the actress and then boyfriend "The Amazing Spider-Man" himself Andrew Garfield when they were filming the hit movie.

The 10,000-square-foot property was built in 1835 and now boasts units covering entire floors of about 1,800 square feet each. They come equipped with ornate wood-burning fireplaces, soaring 18-foot-high ceilings, stylish original crown moldings and sound-proofed rooms. The garden has a private entrance and a private rear yard. The property features a dedicated elevator, ceilings, skylights and access to a rooftop garden area with sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline and the Hudson River, AOL Real Estate featured.

Stone's townhouse's star was born of Clement Clarke Moore's decision to divide the family's Chelsea property into little lots as the fast expanding city progressed its success northward.

Frances Gaar, the actress, first purchased the estate in 1962, then rented to expose to business A-listers before selling it for $6.2 million to developers Michael Bolla and Michael Daniel shortly before her passing in 2008. The two developers started a two-year renovation that restored and updated the townhouse to its grandeur.

According to The Daily News, Victor Sozio, vice president of Ariel Property Advisors stated that potential buyers could keep the property as rental apartments that earn roughly $620,000 in annual income, or convert the units to condos that could collect up to $5.5 million each. Sozio, however, recommended reconfiguring the property to become an urban compound for family members.

"Easy A" actress Stone had suggested that the "Devil Wears Prada" star Meryl Streep, who resides in a Tribeca penthouse, should consider purchasing the property so she could have her two daughters even closer. Louisa, a model, recently acquired a three-bedroom condominium in the Williamsburg district of Brooklyn. Meanwhile, Mamie, an actress, has bought a two-bedroom property on West 23rd Street.
