Here's a Look at a Stunning Glass Mansion in New York City on Sale for $5.9M

If you're traveling to New York City anytime soon, make time to check out the stunning hillside glass mansion that you can find there.

According to Elle Décor, the property provides beautiful views of its neighboring areas, as well the night sky.

Renowned astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson recently visited the place and approved its beauty and location.

"The original property had Spanish steps leading to an entrance. The homeowner, film producer Mitchell Cannold, replaced the stairs and flanked them with a waterfall and bonsai-style evergreens," the publication was quoted saying.

Meanwhile, the glass mansion boasts a total of five bedrooms and six toilet and bath. It is currently being sold for $5.9 million. The property also comes with a swimming pool, generous strips of glass, a life-sized chess board, a fruit orchard and so much more.

"A ladder leads from the master suite to the observatory on the roof, which is equipped with a telescope that came recommended by celebrity astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson."

Additionally, the glass mansion boasts a satisfying view of the lake and its surrounding forest.

While speaking with Zillow, Cannold said, "There's no better view in Westchester County than this."

In other news, the mansion also comes with a relaxing living room where couches are fitted with purple cushions. A fireplace for relaxing during cold winter nights is also available indoors.

At the dining area, a six-seat table perfect for families and friends has already been installed. Additionally, the wood-furnished kitchen is spacious enough for everyone's cooking needs.

To add to the luxury of living in a mansion, the new home owners will have the chance to enjoy endless viewing time inside the entertainment room. A smaller counterpart for such a place can also be found near the staircase.
