Home Design: Floral Arrangements for Your New Home

Flowers are not only nice to look at, they can also be an important accent to any home. If you are in love with flowers but don't have any idea how to arrange them best for your home, you've come to the right place.

According to floral designer Kathleen Hyppolite and Emily Howard Kudva, there are actually so many different things you need to consider when it comes to flowers and floral arrangements. For instance, when setting the table, it is important to keep these three things in mind: the textiles, the china and the flatware. Additionally, flowers should also be part of any table setup.

Meanwhile, the two designers met with Elle Décor to share four of their newest collections and to reveal some of the most beautiful floral trends this year. According to both designers, this year's color is Rose Quartz and Pantone. As such, flowers with these shades will be ideal for any type of home.

"The soft pink hue reflects the muted tones that have been popular for floral arrangements over the past decade. Yet applied to an organic, garden-to-table composition mixed with vibrant greenery, this arrangement takes on a fresh and modern approach. Paired with classic black and white table settings and gold flatware the soft pink adds a subtle yet refreshing touch," the publication noted.

According to Hyppolite, "My style is textural and personal with notes of romance and whimsy."

The designers also revealed that combining coral and orange with different shades of pink is also another beautiful style for the flowers at home. These flowers can be placed right on top of the dinner or lunch table where they can serve as a beautiful accent.

In other news, the designers are also swearing by using contrasts with flower arrangements so that they wouldn't look dull and ordinary in your home.
