Samsung Galaxy Note 4' Release Date, Specs & Reviews: Must-See New Ad, 'Do You Note?' Is Hilarious

Well, this is different. Taking a break from its Apple-bashing ways, Samsung's newest advert for the Galaxy Note 4 focuses on practical applications and life-saving uses in a comedic situation.

In the short video titled, "[Do you Note?] Ready, Set, Saved with Samsung GALAXY Note 4," the state-of-the-art phablet is seen being used by a problematic hiker in the middle of nowhere but is saved with the quick-and-easy S-Pen along with the phone's scan, save and edit features.

This clip is the newest in a series of humorous ads that highlight the advantages of the Samsung Note series over its competition -- the S Pen. A total of three ads have been uploaded and shared via the Samsung Mobile's YouTube account that show the Note 4 in action within various settings, reported BGR.

The site further notes how the three clips illustrates the usefulness of the high-end phablet in daily instances where having an S Pen can really save the day. "In addition to the S Pen, the commercials also show some special features of the handset, including Photo Note, app multitasking and Smart select, respectively," noted the tech site.

The Samsung Galaxy Note series offers an exciting combination of phone and tablet rolled into one. The Stuff reported that the Galaxy Note 4 is one of the most advanced smartphones that offer both usability and compactness. With the device's sizable phone screen, users can enjoy a useful display yet still compact enough to tote with ease.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 boasts of a Snapdragon 805 processor, huge 3220mAh battery with a 2K screen. The smartphone-tablet packs a punch with its 2.7 GHz quad core processor, 5.7inch Super AMOLED displays screen which supports quadHD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and 515 ppi. Camera-wise, the Note 4 has a 16-MP back camera and is supported by a 3.7-MP front-facing clicker.

This is the first series of Samsung ads that didn't bash on its toughest competitor. A mere two months earlier, Samsung released an ad titled, "Galaxy Note 4 -- Then And Now" that openly taunted the dated upgrades of the Apple iPhone 6.

The ad emphasized the innovative approach Samsung has taken with the Note series' large screen, multi-window tasking and S-Pen stylus. Using the statements of online publications that criticized Samsung during the release of the original note, it then followed up with articles praising Apple for its bigger 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus.
