'Huawei' Phone News, Update, Rumors: Company Posted A Teaser Ahead Of The CES Event, Could It Be The 'Honor X3'?

CES is nearby but this doesn't stop Huawei from giving us more hints as to what the company has in store for us in the coming months.

Just before the CES event of Huawei, they posted a teaser on Weibo containing an image of the side part of a really thin metal device. With that image comes a short but intriguing description that says "Rhythm x Entertainment" and "New Style for New Year". The CES date and place are also in the poster that says "Jan. 5th 2016. Las Vegas".

The event is just a few hours away so all we have to do is wat for Huawei's official announcements so we can shed some light into this teaser. But if the previous rumors are true, Honor X3 may be unveiled in Huawei's CES event. If so, leaks say that this device will come with Kirin 950 SoC chip and a 6.2 inch screen. The resolution would be a good one (1600 x 2560 pixels) and the RAM would be a massive 4 GB. According to GSMarena, this device will also have 64 GB internal storage, which is pretty hefty and satisfying. It was also said that this certain gadget will come with a 20 MP rear cam and an 8 MP front cam. The native OS this device will run is said to me the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

If the rumored specs are true, we cannot expect this upcoming Huawei device to be very affordable as the specs are pretty beastly, although it probably won't be as highly priced as the other brands, especially when Huawei is just starting to make a name in the international market. But still, the leaked specs are way too high end for a midrange price. The 64 GB internal memory for starters, top that with high res screen, and high MP pair of cameras.

But still, none of these rumors should be celebrated just yet. Huawei is still a few hours away from revealing what they mean by the poster. Let's just hope the company reveals the beastly device they have been rumored to develop.
