"The Walking Dead" Season 6 teased that the second half of the season will be deadly which may mean that another major character death will occur.
Rumors about the death of Lauren Cohan's character Maggie Greene emerged when she was seen with a new pixie cut hair. Maggie is the pregnant wife of Glenn played by Steven Yuen, who had a presumed death on the first half of Season 6 but came out alive later on.
"Lauren Cohan-who plays the female half of beloved couple Glenn and Maggie-has hacked off her longish wavy hair," Vanity Fair reported. "The cut she debuted on Friday looks cute, but, according to some, could be cause for alarm."
The change of Cohan's hair is also likened to the time when Andrew Lincoln shaved his beard which made fans worry that he will no longer be part of the show. But it was actually part of the transformation of his character, Rick Grimes.
Showrunner Scott M. Gimple revealed the likelihood of death and the difference of "The Walking Dead" series with the comics, Entertainment Weekly reported. Hence, there had been many predictions of possible character death for the second half of Season 6.
Aside from Lauren Cohan, the deaths of other characters are also rumored including that of Maggie's husband Glenn. Although he didn't die in the third episode of the season, he might die on the second half of the season because of Negan.
Abraham Ford may die since he died ahead of Glenn on the comics. With that, he might die on the 14th episode. Jessie Anderson will probably die as in the comics when the walkers devoured her and her son. Tara Chambler might also die because of the stolen crossbow of Daryl, Movie Pilot teased.
Another rumored death is for Daryl Dixon played by Norman Reedus since he is having a new show on AMC titled "Ride With Norman Reedus." The fans fear that he might actually die because in the mid-season finale, he was seen being shot and blood is seen everywhere. But Reedus is seen filming the finale which means he survived it.
"The Walking Dead" Season 6 will return on February 2016.
