Trainer Jillian Michaels lists Hollywood Hills home for $2.14 million

Jillian Michaels, the celebrity trainer on NBC's "Biggest Loser", has reportedly listed her home in the Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles for $2.14 million.

According to the Trulia Blog, this is not the first time the home has come up on the market. It debuted with a $2.45 million price tag in May 2013, but having failed to find a buyer she reduced the asking price.

Public records show that the residence last sold in 2008 for $1.5 million. Reza Farahan of Keller Williams Realty Hollywood Hills, who also happens to be a fellow reality TV star, is the listing agent.

The home is a 2,701-square feet single-family residence comprising of three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.

Interiors of the home feature an open floor plan, glass windows and doors with drywall ceilings. Living space includes a large drawing room surrounded by glass walls that open into the backyard pool. There is a modern kitchen with a marble-topped mid-rise island.

The master bedroom on the upper level has a large dressing room. There is a spacious study/library on the level too.

Outside, the home has ample recreation area. There is a pool and a lounging area. There is a four-car parking garage as well.

The listing describes the home as "the QUINTESSENTIAL Hollywood Hills home with killer CITY LIGHTS VIEWS!"

The listing also notes that the home has been "Designed by award winning architects Offenhauser/Mekeel in 2000 and re-imagined by the current celebrity owner..."

Michaels and her partner Heidi Rhodes may have moved into a larger place as their two children have been growing up. Michaels also owns a $1.1 million, two bed-two bath house in L.A. that she uses as an investment.

More recently, Michaels caught headlines after she joined the campaign to ban carriage horses in New York City. She herself owns a rescued horse and said she doesn't mind owning another one, reports New York Daily news.
