The fall finale of ‘The Flash Season 2’ is approaching. The episode, titled "Running to Stand Still," will have a Christmas theme and someone finds out a new superpower.
If you thought that Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will be left behind with rusty superpowers, then you are definitely wrong. It can be recalled that in episode 2 of season 2, Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) helped him develop his lightning hurling power. And in the fall finale, we can expect another superpower of Barry to show up.
The synopsis for the fall finale episode is as follows:
"When Mark Mardon/The Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre) returns to break Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and James Jesse/Trickster (Mark Hamill) out of Iron Heights, Barry (Grant Gustin) must stop these rogues from taking over Central City during Christmas. Meanwhile, Joe [Jesse L. Martin] and Iris [Candeice Patton] meet Wally [Keiynan Lonsdale]."
"Barry does another thing with his powers that he, in the moment, discovers and that he's never done before. It's kind of goofy in a way where it's very comic book-y. It's cool,” Gustin said to TVLine.
Although things are getting better for Barry as he unfolds another secret to his strength, his romantic life may seem dodgy as fans believe that Patty may have actually discovered that the apple of her eye is the superhero that takes care of the people, The Flash.
There was no tidbits from actor, Gustin, about cause of the sudden looming of their relationship.
"Things are shifting with their relationship,” he hinted about the love life of the superhero and how things between them may be "getting a little harder."
Moreover, in the December 1 episode, entitled 'Dare to Defy,' of The Flash, expect a crossover of the series with another CW series, The Arrow. Check the spoilers here.
