The Disney XD series was previously rumored to be headed towards its end and series creator Alex Hirsch recently confirmed such rumors. In a Twitter post, Hirsch wrote: "Hey guys. Gravity Falls has been an amazing journey, but the rumors are true- its reaching its finale."
While this news has disappointed and disheartened many of the show's loyal fans as there are still a lot of unanswered questions on "Gravity Falls" and there are still more storylines to explore, many fans celebrated the show's upcoming finale. In response to Hirsch's tweet, fans thanked the series creator for bringing such a magnificent show on TV.

While "Gravity Falls" Season 2 Episode 19 titled "Weirdmageddon 2: Escape from Reality" ultimately showed Dipper and Mabel bond together as siblings, many fans are still wondering as to who Hirsch was referring to when he revealed that a major character was set to die in the series, Movie Pilot reported.
According to the outlet, there is an ongoing speculation among fans and viewers that this character is none other than Grunkle Stan, as Stan seemingly shares a connection with Bill Cipher.
