Real Estate News: Real Estate Brokerage Redfin Introduces New Design for Its Yard Sign

Real estate brokerage, Redfin, is going to start rolling out the newest design for its yard sign in all of the properties listed under their firm.

In the next few weeks, all homes for sale that are listed under Redfin in Seattle, Boston, Charlotte, Maryland, Nashville, Northern Virginia, Phoenix, San Diego, Washington D.C. and Wisconsin, will have the new yard sign installed, while the rest of Redfin's 81 cities will have the design in the next few months.

"The Redfin yard sign is an important representation of our real-world service and rapidly growing home-selling business," said Karen Krupsaw, Redfin's vice president for real estate operations. "In addition to the most popular brokerage website, we have service-obsessed real estate agents across the country who help people buy and sell homes."

According to their press release in PR Newswire, the new design was developed under the leadership of Redfin's Lindy Kanand. Inspired by the clean, modern way-finding signs that is being used in museums, the new Redfin yard design features a wash of bold red with white and grey accents. She also used a panel of brushed metal between two custom polymer panels for the new yard sign, instead of using painted wood. The new yard sign is also lighter, more durable, and easier to be transported than the previous design.

"We loved the challenge of creating a sign that would be eye catching and beautiful, but still meet the functional needs of the business," said Kanand. "This is a sign our Redfin listing clients will be thrilled to have on their front lawns."

Redfin is a next-generation real estate brokerage founded in Seattle in 2006. The company represents people buying and selling homes.

Redfin is not your typical brokerage firm. They combine advanced technology with full-service agents who are paid a salary, who receive benefits, and who earn bonuses based on customer satisfaction.
