Jimmy Prude: From Being Lactose Intolerant to Producing One of the Best Vegan Deserts

Going vegan isn't entirely subjective as some individuals possess specific food allergies that can lead to their health deterioration. One of which is being lactose intolerant, where in the body doesn't have the capacity to easily digest lactose, which is a type of sugar often found in milk and other dairy products. Lactose intolerance is common in adults, having this condition however, turned one individual from rags to riches. Jimmy Prude may not be a popular celebrity, but he is however the man behind "Jimmy's Vegan Cookies." It is a new snack line which distributes vegan, animal free, cookie products. It is now popular to both vegans and meat eaters alike.

As per Celebrity Net Worth, Prude graduated in Howard University in which he majored in business and information technology. He used to actively participate in his university's nutrition program during his college years, in which his food and nutrition views changed dramatically. All throughout the years, Prude noticed that he is intolerant to dairy products, which eventually pushed him to go on a vegan diet. He embraced vegetarianism and was pleased with the positive results. After becoming a technology teacher at the technology school, the yuppie couldn't seem to find a suitable and affordable vegan dessert, which inspired him to create "Jimmy's Vegan Cookies."

His product was launched in 2001, and each cookie is made with natural ingredients such as "natural Amish grains, coconut oil, agave nectar, and stone-ground whole wheat." His vegan cookies is available in two flavors which is the "Loaded Vegan" which is packed with vegan dark chips and "Dark Berry Vegan" which has cranberries and vegan dark chocolate chips.

The company may have only existed for 4 years, but "Jimmy's Vegan Cookies" already earned a spot in one of the most popular retail chains "Whole Foods" and "Walgreen's."
