NBA Rumors and Updates: Kevin Love Unable to Fit in with David Blatt's Style, Love to Be Transferred to LA Lakers

After being called out by LeBron James for not performing well offensively on their recent game, Kevin Love is now being rumored to be shipped out from the Cavaliers. There are some reports indicating that the former UCLA star is having some issues with the coaching style of Cavalier's coach, David Blatt. That is why the team is investing more time on Tristan Thompson. Such report was even highlighted by Sports Illustrated stating that;

"The late signing of Tristan Thompson to a five-year deal gives Cleveland the option to move Love for a meaningful package of players and assets. Thompson's defensive skillset and comfort operating without the ball makes him infinitely more suited to play center next to James than Love is."

Love, who just signed five-year $110 million deal this summer, is now considered as a trade option bound for Lakers as some rumors would suggest. On recent article of Sports Illustrated, Love was included on the list of possible players to be traded. According to chinatopix, "rumors of a trade with the Los Angeles Lakers are currently buzzing online with Love predicted to be dealt in exchange for the Lakers' starting cduo of Roy Hibbert and Julius Randle, which the RealGM Trade Checker considers a successful trade."

Still the rumors would remain rumors for Love could not be traded till December 14, and his counterpart's contract, Hibbert, would expire only next summer. And it would still be doubtful if Lakers would sacrifice their promising player, Randle; in exchange for a Kevin Love whose offense is being questioned.

Though the trade would be beneficial for Cavaliers, still it is something to be dealt about in the near future. As of now, James would have to advice Love from time to time, until he can regain his former All Star status. The season is not close to finish; Love can still bounce back from these criticisms and issues.
