‘Jane The Virgin Season 2’ Updates and Spoilers: Episode 5 Reveals Britney Spears and Rogelio de la Vega’s Secret Past

Britney Spears will appear in Episode 5 of Jane The Virgin Season 2 as herself, entitled 'Chapter Twenty-Seven.' This episode will show the viewers the 'secret past' of Spears and Rogelio de la Vega (Jaime Camil).

The most awaited appearance of the singer is finally happening this season. Spears will check in at the Marbella. Los Angeles Times learns about the revelations that she and de la Vega had a secret past. 

According to Yibada, in a recent interview with TV Guide, Camil explained that in "Jane the Virgin" season 2 episode 4 titled "Chapter Twenty-Six," the wealthy Milos (Max Bird-Ridnell) proposed to Petra Solano (Yael Grobglas) at the end of the episode and may have  been the reason why Spears appears in episode 5 - to sing on their wedding.

Although he did not share further spoilers about Jane the Virgin season 2 episode 5, he spitted out that in the latest episode, he will confront Spears upon finding out that she is at the Marbella "in a very, very funny scene (and) very dramatic, Rogelio-style."

"You know how he is sometimes, or most of the time, I should say," Camil said of his "Jane the Virgin" character.

Moreover, he said that the confrontation with Spears will not end well that her team had to get a restraining order on him. He will not be able to go near the hotel for the time being as long as Spears is there. 

On the other hand, Jane Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez) realizes that she is finally ready to make a move regarding her love life. Alba Villanueva (Ivonne Coll) will be  moving up the ladder of becoming a citizen, but it might not be all sugary because of Xiomara Villanueva (Andrea Navedo).

'Jane the Virgin' airs Monday nights at 9pm on The CW.
