Episode 9 of Doctor Who Season 9, entitled 'Sleep No More,' will take us through a rollercoaster ride as the synopsis revealed that The Doctor (Peter Capaldi) and Clara (Jenna Coleman) goes to a space station.
Of course, something will go wrong in the trip, similar to their adventure at a underwater station which would bring their trip to a horrible turn.
"This terrifying story is assembled from footage discovered in the wreckage of Le Verrier Space Station," the synopsis says.
According to IBTimes, the synopsis doesn't give too much information about what will happen in the next episode. And the summary reveals only that the episode is inspired by "found footage" horror films (such as "Paranormal Activity" or "Cloverfield"), however, luckily, the promotional videos gave a little more insight.
The first promotional video shows a scientist's vlog that tells viewers not to watch.
"I'm warning you. You can never unsee it," the man who seems to be a scientist says. The rest of the trailer shows bits and pieces of The Doctor and Clara on the run and fighting some sort of monster.
The second promotional video gives more tidbits about the incoming episode. The Doctor discovers that people on the space station have been using a tool called Morpheus that stops them from sleeping.
"Congratulations, professor. You have created an abomination," The Doctor says.
The latest episode title of 'Sleep No More,' according to IBTimes, obviously refers to the new invention, with a little reference to Macbeth.
Moreover, the next episode will be titled 'The Raven.' Both William Shakespeare's play (Macbeth) and Edgar Allan Poe's poem (The Raven) have dark endings. This could constitute a clue about this two-part story.
Clara would seem to be in very great trouble, as well. Viewers are well aware that this is her last season. So, there might be gruesome happenings that will happen to her, although fans are more likely to hope for a better and happier ending for her. They are also aware that everyone who leaves doesn't have happy endings on their hands.
She may be leaving, but as to when would it be is still a question.
